Download the MedXer app on your iPhone or Android device

Search for your prescription medicine

If medicines are available, proceed to step 3. If not, put on your watchlist and MedXer will notify you as soon as surveys are available

To get started, you will need your photo ID and prescription bottle

Receive cash

Once you have taken surveys on your medicine, you will be sent cash via Venmo. If you don’t have Venmo, you will need to download the app to get paid

  2. Search for your prescription medicine

  4. Scan your photo ID & prescription medicine bottle or label
  5. Answer the survey questions

MedXer will send cash to your Venmo account within 24-48 hours, pending verification of your prescription medicine label scan.

You will need to download Venmo app (There is a link to Venmo in the MedXer app)

If your medicine does not have surveys available now, add to your watchlist and accept notifications. MedXer will contact you when surveys for your medicine are available.

If your medicine is not on the search list, it is either an over the counter medicine or a prescription generic medicine.  We do not have surveys for these medicines at this time.

  • Please enter all your branded medicines in the Search by medicine page in the MedXer app
  • Not all branded medicines will have surveys each month
  • You can complete surveys for up to 3 branded medicines, if surveys are available.
  • Enter all your branded medicines in the Search My Medicine page in the MedXer app. If surveys are not available for your branded medicine, add it to the Watch List.
  • MedXer will notify you when a survey for your medicine is available

As an alternate to email, MedXer uses Single Sign On (SSO) to authenticate your identity.  This does not give us access to your Google or Apple account details, and is designed to provide a simple, secure method of logging into your MedXer account.

No. Medxer does not have access to your Apple or Google password or other related personal information. MedXer uses your Apple or Google ID to log you into the MedXer app and to validate your Apple or Google ID.

In our user registration process, we request to take picture of your face and medications and this is only to verify that you are a real person and you are currently taking the medication(s) that you say you are taking.  After verification of your ID and medications, then these images and information will be deleted from our system.  Our intent is not to store any app user’s personal information in our system.
We do NOT sell or release individual app user information to any third-party companies. The MedXer team is committed to the security of our customers and their data.  All user data collected is de-identified, then pooled for storage so no individual data is accessible – it is all grouped together.
